Toronto lineup revealed…except Belt starts – catcher Heinemann

The Toronto Blue Jays have announced their starting lineup.

The Toronto Blue Jays have announced their starting lineup for today’s game against the Oakland Athletics at Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, Calif.

The Blue Jays will start George Springer (designated hitter), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (first base), Davis Schneider (second base), Whit Merrifield (left field), Cavan Biggio (right field), Santiago Espinal (third base), Ernie Clement (shortstop), Dalton Bashaw (center field) and Tyler Heinemann (catcher).

As expected, Heinemann will start at catcher. He’ll be paired with Ryu Hyun-jin in place of Danny Jansen, who is out with a broken finger. This will be the first time the two have played together.

Brandon Belt remains out of the starting lineup as he continues to be sidelined with abdominal pain.

Belt has been dealing with abdominal pain on top of his recent back injury. He has only played in two games in this six-game road trip.

There are a few lineup changes from the previous game. Guerrero Jr. moves up to the second spot in the batting order and Schneider drops to third.

In center field, Basho gets the start in place of Kevin Kiermaier.

Toronto owns a +15 run differential, its best so far this season, after winning the previous day. They are 5-1 in their last six games, 10-6 in their last 16 games, and 23-17 in their last 40 games.토스카지노
