Ulsan Hyundai, the leading professional soccer team in the K League 1, has been fined 10 million won by the Korea Professional Football Association.

The KFA said it made the decision at the 11th meeting of its punishment committee on Friday.

“During the match against Jeonbuk Hyundai on the 19th, while the referee was conducting a video assistant referee (VAR) on-field review, the home team, Ulsan, transmitted the game footage of the review to the public address system and exposed the contents of a cheering message containing an insulting expression to the opposing club during an on-field event before the match,” the league explained.

The K League Baseball Competition Guidelines state that “the home club must display an image indicating that the VAR is being reviewed on the scoreboard until the end of the review, and the relevant video footage cannot be replayed on the scoreboard,” which Ulsan did not comply with.

In what was billed as the third “Hyundai Family Matchup” of the season, Ulsan defeated Jeonbuk Hyundai 1-0 in the 26th minute of the match.토스카지노

With 30,756 fans in attendance at Ulsan Munsoo Stadium, Ulsan surpassed the 30,000 mark for a home game for the first time this season and secured their first win in three games, becoming the first of the 12 K League 1 teams to reach 60 points.

However, Ulsan’s failure to live up to its status as a top-ranked team due to rule violations, such as displaying slanderous messages about its opponents, will remain a challenge. According to the K-League’s disciplinary code, clubs can be fined for slandering their opponents.
