The Toronto Blue Jays have released their starting lineup for their upcoming game against the Cleveland Indians on April 8 at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
They announced the lineup as Davis Schneider (left field), Braden Belt (designated hitter), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (first base), George Springer (right field), Danny Jansen (catcher), Matt Chapman (third base), Dalton Bashaw (center field), Cavan Biggio (second base), and Paul DeJong (shortstop).
Jansen played just one game in Boston’s last three-game series. His wrist was bothering him after he hit a sand dune during a home game against the Baltimore Orioles on March 3.

Toronto has three left-handed hitters in the lineup today, all aimed at opposing starter Gavin Williams.
Center fielder Kevin Kiermaier, who injured his right elbow when he crashed into the fence in Boston the day before, is the only lefty out of the lineup.
